We are a group of active, engaged, caring women who enjoy each other, while sharing interests and having fun together. We gather in a wide range of activities.

We are committed to improving our local community through our philanthropy programs. We volunteer many hours sponsoring fundraising events so we can offer grants to nonprofits providing essential services in south Deschutes County.

February Luncheon

February 21,, 2023 at Crosswater:  Doors open at 11:30 am, lunch will be served at noon.

Our guest speaker will be: This month our own Val Stensland (Power of 50 Committee) will speak to the membership about the factors that lead philanthropy to choose education as the focus of our Anniversary project. She will share information about the state of children and families in south Deschutes County, the opportunity gaps that exist and will show the power of mentoring and out of school time programs in positively influencing educational outcomes for children.

Menu choices are:
  • Saffron green pea risotto with Romano cheese, herbs, fried garlic
  • Beef tenderloin stroganoff with garlic bread and chopped parsley 
  • Garlic marinated shrimp Caesar salad

Dessert:  Marionberry cobbler with streusel and vanilla ice cream

Please bring bottles of red or white wine ($20.00 value) as we will be collecting them for our Wine Wall at the Art Meets Wine fundraising event on May 20.  

Power of 50 for Education

The Sunriver Women s Club has successfully raised more than $50,000 to target student success! We have surpassed our goal due to the generosity of our donors, including those who donated $50 to $5000 and especially those that did $50 each month in honor of our 50th anniversary.

Join one or more of these groups - from Book Clubs to Hiking/Walking and Winter Fun.

SRWC awards grants to local nonprofit agencies with the goal of providing a strong network of services that will improve the lives of the most vulnerable citizens in our south Deschutes County community.

Join us every month from September to May for lunch and a program starting with the Welcome Event.

The SRWC’s Power of 50 for Education fund is a way for anyone to help meet the unique challenges of south Deschutes County students.

The Sunriver Women's Club (SRWC) is a  501C (3) nonprofit community service organization that welcomes members from Sunriver and the surrounding communities. 

The essence of the SRWC is to be a caring partner to our neighbors, nonprofits in south Deschutes County, local businesses and visitors.

The majority of our members are from Sunriver, La Pine and Bend-everyone is welcome.  Members participate in social and philanthropic activities.  The membership year runs from October 1 through September 30, but you may join in any month. Click on JOIN US to start your membership process.
