Todd Lake to No Name Lake Hike
When: Thursday, October 1, 2026. 6:30 am - 4:00 pm
Meet at SR Country Store parking lot at 6:15, leaving at 6:30. $3 for carpooling, drivers will need a National Forest Pass. 2-3 drivers needed depending on attendance.
Description of event:
This 13.5 mile out and back, 2800 elevation gain hike is challenging, yet beautiful. The trail begins at Todd lake, meanders through old growth forest, crosses several alpine meadows and streams, and leads you above the tree line to the stunning No Name Lake and Bend Glacier. The views at the top are breathtaking.
There are a few sections that are pretty steep. Hiking poles and good hiking shoes/boots are recommended. Please be prepared to hike at a steady pace so we can have lunch at the top and get back below the tree line before the heat of the day.
What to bring/gear: lots of water, hydration drink, lunch, snacks, hiking poles, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent.
