Kayak/SUP Witches' Paddle and optional dinner

Prepare to cast some spells and enjoy the annual Witches’ Paddle this Halloween—Saturday, October 31.  Dust off your broomsticks (or paddleboards/kayaks) and don your most enchanting witchy attire for an afternoon of magical fun on the river. The event kicks off from Riverbend Park between 4-6 PM, so feel free to swoop in whenever you can.

This event is a fundraiser for MountainStar, one of our grant recipients.  They ask that diapers be donated and there will be a place to drop them off at the launch site at River Bend Park. 

Since we all have kayaks/SUPS to transport, meet at the launch spot at 4:00 pm.  We can float for an hour or so and then, for those interested, we can join the Loose Cannon spectators/cheerleaders for dinner at 5:30 pm at Anthony's.  I'm thinking that after we load our water vehicles onto our cars, we could walk along the river to the restaurant.

For those of you who are not inclined to float, consider joining the Loose Cannons spectators/cheerleaders (it's a great event to witness!) and dinner event:

Gear: PDF/life jacket/whistle,  sun glasses, towel, dry sac, Waterway Access Permit

Participants:  Unlimited for the paddle but restaurant reservations are limited to 6 people.  

When registering, you will need to agree to the WAIVER

On the SRWC website, go to calendar and click on the event.  Click "Already Registered."  Click "Cancel.” On the APP, go to "My tickets."  Click CANCEL below the time/date.

If you are cancelling after registration closes on WI, Wild Apricot won’t let you cancel online so contact the leader directly.

NOTE:  This event may be photographed and your image may be used in promotion of the Sunriver Women's Club.
