https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/oregon/green-lakes

This in & out 9.6 mile, 1181 ft elevation gain trail takes us to the famous Alpine basin of the Green Lakes through a strangely idyllic canyon wall by enormous lava flows and a string of waterfalls. After a short distance from the TH, you cross the swift Fall Creek on a single log high Footbridge. Half a mile beyond is the first waterfall, a 25 foot wide curtain of water. That’s the beginning of a string of waterfalls tumbling through shoots juggling over boulders and falling headlong into pools for the next 1.5 miles. Eventually, we cross Fall Creek again on a footbridge in the meadow with glimpses of South Sister and Broken Top. The trail climbs through the woods for a mile returning to Fall Creek in the eerie meadow flanked by massive lava flows. Reaching the trail Junction with Broken Top #10 Is your first sighting of Green Lakes. We will continue on to see the third and last lake.
