MidSoles Hike: PAULINA CREEK TRAIL
When: Wednesday July 8, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Village Bar and Grill parking lot to carpool or meet at 8:30 a.m. at the trailhead. Bring $3 for the driver if carpooling.
Description:
PAULINA CREEK TRAIL-this 5.4-mile out-and-back trail near La Pine, Oregon has 767' elevation gain. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 20 min to complete. The trails along Paulina Creek are within the Newberry National Volcanic Monument in the Deschutes National Forest outside Bend, Oregon. Trail offers a variety of options through regal straight lodgepole and ponderosa pine woodland. Requires a parking permit. Best hiked June thru Oct
