Mountain Biking: Cardinal Landing Bridge to Anns Butte and back

When:  10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2026

Info:    Meet at the Cardinal Landing Bridge in Sunriver.  There is no parking there so you will need to bike from a nearby parking area (North Pool or SHARC).

Description: This is an out and back ride of about 12 miles. We’ll ride the dirt and gravel trails from Cardinal Landing Bridge past Besson Day Use area to where the trail ends on a quiet neighborhood street, Besson Road.  We then bike on paved Besson Road 1 mile to the intersection of Spring River Road.  We will cross Spring River Road and ride 1 mile on unpaved Lloyd Way to Anns Butte. We will ride the 4 mile dirt trail around Anns Butte.  There is some mild elevation gain and there are a few rock gardens -  easily walked through if desired.  After riding the circumference, we will return the way we came.

Gear:

Bring your bike, helmet (required), sunglasses, layered clothing, personal first aid supplies, sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks.

On the SRWC website, go to calendar and click on the event.  Click "Already Registered."  Click "Cancel.” On the APP, go to "My tickets."  Click CANCEL below the time/date.

If you are cancelling after registration closes on WI, Wild Apricot won’t let you cancel online so contact the leader directly.
