If you didn’t make the list for the first hike or the date didn’t work for you, we are doing a repeat of this hike.

When: May 22. Leave 8:00 am- 4pm Leave church parking lot at 8 am for 1½ hour drive to trailhead in Prineville. Have lunch in Prineville after the hike. Bring $5 for carpool and money for lunch.

Description: This is a 4 mile hike with an elevation gain of 544 feet. It is an easy start on a paved path. Then the trail goes up with a few small rocky sections and beautiful views encompassing the entirety of Prineville valley.

Gear: Bring water and snack, sunscreen, hiking poles (optional), hiking boots, hat and mosquito spray.
