Description of event: This is a moderate snowshoe hike up Paulina Creek and back down and will be 3-4 miles roundtrip. (true distance is weather and trail dependent)
When considering signing up for this event, please review the specifics (distance, elevation gain, trail surface, weather) to determine if this event matches your fitness level.
Gear: Please dress accordingly for the weather that morning. Hopefully there will be good snow and we can actually snowshoe, otherwise, Yak Trax may be advisable. Along with your snowshoes, please have good footwear, layers for clothing, warm hat and gloves. We recommend poles since it will be dark on the trail. Also a backpack for adding/shedding layers.
There will be a bonfire after the snowshoe, so please bring some snacks to share and drink of your choice. Also please bring a chair for sitting.
