When:  October 6, 2025

Meet: Holy Trinity Catholic Church 6:30-5:30, all day hike trip to Jefferson Wilderness off Santiam Pass to Pamelia Lake TH.10.2 miles in & out, elevation gain is 2,736. Peak elevation at the top is 5,799”.
Description: A beautiful hike, rated Hard, however the overall gradual climb makes the hike feel more moderately challenging. The trail is a mix of sun & shade, views, & the most beautiful view of Mt. Jefferson right in your face. 790” gain in 2 miles to the blue waters of Pamelia Lake. Grizzly Peak is the site of a former Lookout so you know the views are expansive. Forest includes Douglas Fir, cedar & hemlock old growth.

Gear: sunscreen, hat, pack waterproof/wind jacket, layer clothing, plenty of water & electrolytes, snacks w/a protein factor, lunch, sturdy hiking shoes, hiking poles recommend, $ for permit($1) drivers ($8)and $ for treat stop either at Suttle Lake or Sisters.

Hike & number of hikers are subject to securing permits to enter Jefferson Wilderness.

Participants limited to 12 including leaders.

On the SRWC website, go to the calendar and click on the event.  Click "Already Registered."  Click "Cancel.” On the APP, go to "My tickets."  Click CANCEL below the time/date.
