Fall River Hike 

When: May 22, 2025, 10:30 am - 1:30 pm (back in SR)

Info: Meet at the Sunriver Country Store at 10am to carpool to the Fall River Trailhead. There is limited parking at the Trailhead. This hike is within the Deschutes National Forest and requires a NW Forest Pass for parking. Toilets available at trailhead. Warm up hike for Hearty Soles hikers.

Description: The Fall River hike is a 6.1 mile flat hike mostly along the banks of the Fall River with beautiful views of the crystal clear water. This hike is an out and back. A great hike for those who are getting back in to hiking shape of anyone just wanting a nice little hiking getaway. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/oregon/fall-river-trail 

When considering signing up for this event, please review the specifics (e.g distance, elevation gain, trail surface, gravel, rocky, soft sand, etc.) to determine if this event matches your fitness level.

Gear: sunscreen, water, snacks, hiking poles if you use them, hiking shoes/boots. You will need a NW Forest Pass if you are parking your car at the campground trailhead.
