MidSoles Hike:  North and South Twin Trails

When: Monday, June 23, 2025  9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the SR Village parking lot near the Village Bar & Grill to carpool or meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Trailhead. Bring $5 for the driver if carpooling.

Description:

Near La Pine, this hike is 4.5 mile loop with 351' elevation gain.The Twin Lakes Hiking Loop is a great family-friendly adventure in Oregon that features plenty of beautifully scenic waterside views. While out on the trail, you will complete a figure-eight circuit around the north and south Twin Lakes, enjoying the pristine Pacific Northwest landscape in the process. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 hr 39 min to complete. Requires a parking permit.  Best hiked June thru Oct

When considering signing up for this hike, please review the specifics (e.g. distance, elevation gain, trail surface - gravel, rocky, soft sand etc.) to determine if this trail meets your fitness level.

Gear: Water, snacks, $ for going out to lunch afterwards (optional), hiking poles (optional), sturdy hiking shoes, layered clothing, personal first aid supplies, insect repellent.

May require a parking permit that can be purchased at the parking lot.
