MidSoles Hike:  CLEAR LAKE LOOP

When: Wednesday, June 18, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Description:

This hike is 4.8 miles with 239' elevation gain near McKenzie Bridge, is considered an easy hike. Three thousand years ago a lava flow damned the McKenzie River and created Clear Lake, which lives up to its name. Requires a parking permit.  Best hiked March thru Oct

Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the SCF Church parking lot at 18139 Cottonwood Rd to carpool or meet at 9:45 a.m. at the trailhead. Bring $5 for the driver if carpooling.

When considering signing up for this hike, please review the specifics (e.g. distance, elevation gain, trail surface - gravel, rocky, soft sand etc.) to determine if this trail meets your fitness level.

Gear: Water, snacks, $ for going out to lunch afterwards (optional), hiking poles (optional), sturdy hiking shoes, layered clothing, personal first aid supplies, insect repellent

May require a parking permit that can be purchased at the parking lot.
