Kayak/Paddle Elk Lake

When:  Thursday, 8/21/25, 9:00am-12:00pm

Meet at 8:00am at the Village Bar and Grill parking lot or meet us at the Elk Lake Boat

Launch by 9:00am. Please carpool if possible.  Bring $3 for the driver if carpooling. 

Description:

2 hour paddle with 1/2 hour snack.  Easy to Intermediate.

Elk Lake is surrounded by a lodgepole pine forest, lava flows and pebble beaches.

Enjoy a day out on the water and an optional social hour at the lodge after the paddle.

Gear: Required PFD (life preserver), whistle, sunscreen, bug repellant, hat, sunglasses,

long sleeve shirt, towel, snacks, drinks, dry sac, Invasive Species Permit if kayak longer

than 10 feet.
