Let’s have lunch and make a cozy pet bed for that special cat or small-to-medium size dog. No pet? No problem. These make great gifts! No experience necessary.

What to bring:   a potluck dish for lunch 

Time:     12:00 noon to 2:00 pm

Where:   Debra Brown's House - we will email the address prior to the event

Optional:    your own materials for your pet bed (see below).

Check out this short video if you’d like a preview of how it’s done. It will take us about 15 minutes to master the technique, and another half hour or so to complete our beds.

I will have some materials on hand, but if you’d like a special color you can purchase your chunky chenille yarn in advance and bring it to the workshop. Skeins cost between $5-$10 each, depending on what you find on sale.

Local retailers include Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, and JoAnn’s. Also, Amazon has numerous brands and colors. 

You will need: 

   Cat or Toy Breed Dog:  1-2 skeins

   Small Dog:  2-3 skeins

   Medium Dog:  3-4 skeins
