Winter hike from Tumalo State Park to O B Riley Ranch

Jan. 21st, 9:00 to noon - later if going to stay for lunch option

Meet at Holy Trinity Church on Cottonwood at 8:45 to leave by 9:00. Or meet at State Park at 9:30. Bring $3 if carpooling.

We will start at Tumalo State park and walk along the river to OB Riley Ranch and return back to the state park. This is an easy hike with an elevation gain of less than 400 ft.  It is approx. a 7 mile out and back hike. We should be back to the park by 12 noon. For those of you who would like to go to lunch afterward, we will then drive to Pisanos in Tumalo.

What to bring: water, snack, $ for carpooling or lunch afterwards, poles optional, layered  weather appropriate clothing, personal aid supplies.

A State Park parking pass per vehicle is required. Many of us probably have those we can use.
