Kayak - Harper's Bridge to SROA marina with upstream paddle on Spring River
When: Wednesday, Oct. 2, 11 a.m.
In the water at 11:15 a.m.
Leader: Mary Elizabeth Horan, 310-780-1438
Float/paddle time is 1 1/2 - 2 hours including up-river paddle on Spring River
Let's get on the river one more "last time" before the water level drops. We can get some good exercise during the approximately 20 minute up-river paddle on Spring River.
Try to get dropped off and picked up to avoid shuttling. But I will shuttle you back to Harper's Bridge if necessary. Then you can return to the marina to retrieve your boat/SUP.
I WILL CHECK WATER LEVEL ON MONDAY. IF IT HAS DROPPED, I WILL LET YOU KNOW AND WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2025.
AND OF COURSE, SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER/SMOKE CONDITIONS.
Gear: PDF/life jacket, sun screen, bug repellant, hat, sun glasses, towel, snacks, water/drinks, dry sac, Invasive Species Permit if kayak longer than 10 feet.
