Kayak - Harper's Bridge up-river to Little Deschutes and back

When:  September 23, 11 a.m.

In the water at 11:15 a.m.

Float/paddle time is about 1 1/2 hours including some up-river paddling in the LIttle Deschutes.

Let's get on the river one more time before the water level drops.  We can get some good exercise during the approximately 20 minute up-river paddle to the Little Deschutes, paddle into the Crosswater area of the Little Deschutes, and float back to the bridge

 I WILL CHECK WATER LEVEL ON MONDAY.  IF IT HAS DROPPED, I WILL LET YOU KNOW AND WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2025.

AND OF COURSE, SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER/SMOKE CONDITIONS.  

Gear: PDF/life jacket, sun screen, bug repellant, hat, sun glasses, towel, snacks, water/drinks, dry sac, Invasive Species Permit if kayak longer than 10 feet.

The Sunriver Women's Club (SRWC) is a  501C (3) nonprofit community service organization that welcomes members from Sunriver and the surrounding communities. 

The essence of the SRWC is to be a caring partner to our neighbors, nonprofits in south Deschutes County, local businesses and visitors.
