Hearty Soles -  Duffy Lake and Little Duffy Lake

Date: August 28, 2024

Time: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm  (Depending on the weather and air quality this departure time may change to an earlier time)

Meet: Holy Trinity Catholic Church parking lot to park and carpool. Bring $5 for gas.

 Drive time: 1 Hours 30 minutes
 Hike time:  4 hours                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Elevation gain: 948 ft                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Trail:  8.0 mi  out-and-back trail. Generally considered a moderately challenging route.     

What to bring: Water/electrolytes 2 + liters is recommend. Hiking poles if you like to use them, hat, sunscreen, bug repellent, layer clothing. A good pair of hiking boots or hiking shoes are required. Lunch/ snacks.

Optional:  Extra pair of shoes/sandals & a bag or something to put your dirty hiking boots and socks in for the ride home.  Extra snacks & beverage for drive back home. 

Possible stop in Sisters on our way back home. Bring money for ice cream or caramel apples.
