Winter Fun - sunrise snowshoe at Virginia Meissner Sno-park

We'll meet at 5:15am at the Country Store to carpool to Virginia Meissner Sno-Park for a Sunrise Snowshoe. 

The easy trail is under 4 miles with an elevation gain of 310 ft. to the warming hut taking you through beautiful forest of lodgepole pines.

The plan is to snowshoe but bring yaktrax with you in case that is a better option. Also dress in layers, have a headlamp so you can see where you are going, water and if you want to bring a snack to share at our destination, that'd be great & a thermos with a hot beverage if you'd like.

If you can drive and have a sno-park pass that would be great.

It is about a 30 minute drive from Sunriver. As most Winter Fun it is weather dependen. Your leaders for the morning will be Tamara Sutela and Sabine Ohling
