Winter Fun - Full Moon walk or snowshoe

  • Monday, November 27, 2023
  • 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Sunriver Lodge

Registration

Registration is closed

Brigid Kennaday and Gwen Gamble lead the merry and cheery walk through Sunriver to see the Holiday Lights is Monday, 11/27,23.  We will meet at the Sunriver Resort Lodge ready to leave at 5pm.  If it is (hopefully) snowing or extremely cold, you could gather in the lobby if needed, otherwise we will gather on the front steps (please do not block any guests trying to get in).

Since there is no way to REALLY know what the weather will be, please check the local weather and dress appropriately. There is always a chance of some ice, so poles are an option for safety, and/or bringing your Yak Trax (you could always carry them in a backpack). Layers are always nice since you will warm up as we walk, though this is a walk to enjoy the winter evening and seeing the lights, and meeting and talking with others.

We will meet at the lodge around 5pm (exact details later for time and distance) and go for 2-3 mile walk out behind the lodge, and return as we enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights shining bright.

Spouses and guests are welcomed.  We will send an email out to the attendees on Monday to let you know what footwear is needed (boots, yak tracks or snow shoes).

Optional to gather at Owl's Nest afterwards for a drink.
