Hearty Soles Hike - Newberry National Monument

10/18  Newberry National Monument Peter Skene Ogden Trail-hike past numerous waterfalls and huge ponderosa pines.  The distance is 7 miles and the elevation gain is 750 feet.  We will run a shuttle between McKay Campground and Paulina Lake.  

Wear sturdy shoes, bring a lunch and $3 for your driver.  A parking pass is required - NW Forest Service or American the Beautiful.  Meet at HTCC at 9 a.m.  Carolyn Spaniol is the leader.
