Hearty Soles Hike - Moraine Lake Trail from Green Lakes

This will be a shuttle type hike. We will enter by permit on the Trailhead to Green Lakes and leaving the trail by Devils Lake Trailhead. We will need to leave 3 cars at Devils Lake Trailhead and 2 cars at Green Lakes Trailhead returning all hikers after hike back to Green Lakes to retrieve their cars. Forest Pass or America the Beautiful pass required. Mileage will be 9 miles +/- with an elevation gain of 2,000 feet. This hike is considered challenging.

Capacity is 12 hikers which includes the 2 leaders. Number of hikers subject to availability of permits for that date. Hike is also subject to hikers willing to use their cars to shuttle between the trailheads. 

This hike requires plenty of fluids for this all day hike, snacks, lunch, sunhat, sunscreen, bug spray and hiking boots (not tennis type shoes). Hiking poles recommend.

We will meet 7:30 a.m. at the La Pine Fire Station on 55785 South Century Drive.
