Hearty Soles Hike - Todd Lake to No Name Lake

This 13 mile out and back, 2400 elevation gain hike is challenging, yet beautiful. The trail begins at Todd lake, meanders through old growth forest, crosses several high mountain streams, and leads you above the tree line to the stunning No Name Lake and Bend Glacier. The views at the top are breathtaking. There are a few sections that are pretty steep. Hiking poles and good hiking shoes/boots are recommended. Please be prepared to hike at a steady pace so we can have lunch at the top and get back below the tree line before the intense heat of the day. 

This is a permitted hike, we will take 10 hikers including the 2 leaders. Meet at Sunriver Country Store at 6:00 am, leaving at 6:15 am. We would like to be on the trail by 7:00 am. 

Please bring lunch and snacks, LOTS of water, hiking poles, sunscreen, hat and $3 for the drivers. Leaders are Sabine Ohling (srohling66@gmail.com) and Shelley Mondragon (shelleykurtz@hotmail.com).
