Hearty Soles Hike - Rosary Lakes NEW DATE

NEW DATE - July 20 (instead of July 18)

Rosary Lakes on this out and back hike is 8 miles with elevation gain/loss 600 feet. Total hikers is 12 including leaders. Meet at 7AM to carpool from fire station on South Century drive near milepost 6. Please park on the North side of FS. 

Hike is located on Hiway 58 near Willamette Pass Ski area. It's a gentle climb in, and about 4 hours. First 2 miles climbs gradually along a forested slope without a single switch back. Looking south you catch glimpses of Diamond Peak and Odell Lake. After 2.7 miles you come to the first of 3 lakes; lower, middle and Upper Rosary Lakes.

Bring lunch, plenty of water, bug/tick spray, sunscreen, hke poles and hiking boots. $5 for drivers. Return is approx. 4PM. Leaders are Judy Burbank (judymburbank@gmail.com ) and Melodee Munckton (melodeem@gmail.com).
