Winter Fun - XC ski (or snowshoe/hike depending on conditions)

The activity will be either an advanced beginner xc skiing at Meissner Sno-Park, approximately 4-5 miles or a hike at Hatfield Ponds.  We'll have to decide how the snow is at Meissner a day or so before. 

The Hatfield Ponds  hike (walk, really) is  4.2 miles along gravel paths that wind through ponds northeast of Bend, about 35 minutes from Sunriver. It's a peaceful place with mountain views and known for bird-watching at some times of the year. 

We would meet at 10 a.m. for either activity at Holy Trinity  Catholic Church. Bring a lunch or hearty snack. Final details right before the outing.
