Hearty Soles Hike

VISTA RIDGE - new hike for Hearty Soles. This close in to Sunriver area viewpoint hike that comes with benches at the top to see 360 panoramic Mountain and Tumalo valley views. The trail starts at Vista Butte park area NE of Sunriver Junction with Century Drive that  heads toward Mt. Bachelor. This trail to the top of the butte is a X-C trail and part of the Swampy Lakes/Swede Ridge x-c trail system. Julie Cartwright is leader and email her at julianacartwright@gmail.com. Meet at HTCC parking area at 8:30am. This hike is 4.2 miles R/T and gain 748ft. It has a gradual ascent & provides a lovely opportunity to get in a morning hike & still have half a day for other activities. Bring water, snacks, & sunscreen. Hiking poles are nice but not essential. Views of Mt. Bachelor, So. Sister, Broken Top, Tumalo and Diamond Peak in the distance plus the Tumalo Valley & Bend.
