Winter Fun Snow Shoe or Hike

January 25 – Snowshoe or hike led by Helen Heeren & Kris Besson

Kris Besson and Helen Heeren will be leading a trip along the Edison Long Loop Trail with a tie in to Edison Shelter for a distance of 4.25 miles, roughly 2 hours.  If you would like to stay after for a tailgate lunch gathering bring a chair, bagged lunch and something warm to drink.  Please respond directly to Helen Heeren if you would like to join this outing on Jan. 25.

We will be meeting in the parking lot at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 25.   Members can choose to carpool or drive separately (a Sno-Park Permit is required). 

If carpooling you must show either a vaccination card or a negative test per SRWC policy. Please note that those carpooling must wear masks regardless of vaccination status.

• Please leave furry friends at home.

• Once we have you on the list to attend we will be following up with another email and a few more details and recommendations on footwear (boots, yaktrax or snowshoes) based on conditions.
