Hearty Soles Hike

Moraine Lake, Friday, June 18, 9:30 a.m.

Meet at Holy Trinity Church. The 5.1-mile round-trip Moraine Lake hike offers stunning views of South Sister, Broken Top and Mt. Bachelor, if the weather cooperates. Though rated moderate by All Trails, the trail gains about 1,500 of elevation, mostly in the first two miles. It climbs through Douglas fir and hemlock, reaching a more open, sandy area, where it drops down to the lake. The trail head is past Mt. Bachelor, on the Cascade Lakes Highway.
