Hearty Soles Hike

Hike through to Wild River - hike follows the Big Deschutes River. Easy beginning hike for warm up for hiking higher elevation later in season.

We'll meet at the So. Century Fire Station on the north side of their building at 9:15 and will return approximately 4-1/2 hours later; the hike is about 7 miles. Views of River and log jams, lovely meadows and tall Ponderosas.  View an eagle nest that is occupied so no getting too close unless with binoculars. Fairly even & light level up back to cars.

Bring Lunch, or snacks, water. Poles are not necessary but I always bring mine. Please RSVP to Beverly Sherrer, beverlysh@msn.com, social distancing will be practiced.
