Winter Fun - Full Moon Walk

Join us for a walk under the full moon and starry skies on Jan 28 in Sunriver.  Meet at the Sunriver Nature Center parking lot at 6:30 p.m.  We will walk the paths to Cardinal Landing Bridge – stop there for a glass of wine, warm drink, and or snack (whatever you choose to bring) and then return to the Nature Center.  The total distance of our “Moonlight Stroll” is about 3.2 miles and we should return by 8:30 p.m..

This outing is open to couples and it’s okay to bring your dog if you desire.

We recommend you bring:

·      A headlamp

·      TRAX on your shoes in case the trail is icy

·      A beverage and snack to enjoy on the bridge

·      a mask to be worn when it is not possible to socially distance.

The outing will be limited to 8 participants and 2 leaders. The first 8 people who express interest will get the spots.  After that, we will add names to a waiting list in case someone has to cancel.  If there is a robust sign up and a full waiting list we plan on adding a second group with two additional leaders and staggering it to start 20 minutes after the first group.  We hope to include everyone that would like to do this event so don’t hesitate to sign up!
