Winter Fun - Hike

Lack of snow in Sunriver won’t stop the Winter Fun!

Tuesday January 26th will be an outing into Bend for a hike on the Deschutes River trail, taking in the sights of the Archie Briggs Canyon. The hike is an easy wide trail with a few rolling hills, making it more moderate.  The surface is gravel and dirt.  This will be an out and back hike for a total 5 miles. After the hike we will stop at Boneyard Pub for an optional outdoor beverage and/or a bite to eat. Please have a mask to be worn when passing others on the trail or when distancing cannot be maintained.

Meet at 1:00 p.m. in Bend.  Heading north on 3rd Street in Bend, turn left (west) on Mt. Washington St. There is a parking lot on the right on Mt. Washington, just past the Bend Riverhouse Hotel/Convention Center. (If you start heading up the hill, you have gone too far).
