This event is CANCELLED due to 90 percent chance of rain!

The second SRWC Winter Fun outing of 2021 will be a snowshoe trip to Paulina Lake on Tuesday Jan 12.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate!  We plan on leaving from the 10 Mile Sno-Park on Paulina Lake Rd, and heading uphill toward Paulina Falls (the falls are really beautiful this time of year!). If we choose, we can go a little further to Paulina Lake and the Lodge (restrooms, etc.), as a half-way point. The Lake is also beautiful in the winter. 

The distance is about 6 miles round trip (a little further to reach the Lodge). The first half of the trip (3 miles) is primarily uphill, and can be quite strenuous at times. The second half is downhill all the way back to the parking lot, but please consider your fitness level before signing up for this trip. 

Winter Fun outings are limited to 8 participants and 2 leaders. The first 8 people who express interest will get the spots.  After that, we will add names to a waiting list in case someone has to cancel.
