It is no secret Central Oregon winters are long and harsh. It’s important we make sure our south county children are warm all winter long! We are continuing to collect winter wear for the next few months. You can drop of at First Interstate Bank (Sunriver branch) and the Cascade Sotheby’s Realty Office (building 5, Sunriver Village). We are pleased to say we have received and contributed well over 100 jackets, 10 pair of boots, 35 pair of sweatpants/tights and a few pair of gloves and mittens. The current need is waterproof gloves/mittens and boots. If you have any questions please call Kelly Winch 541-390-0398.

Mark your calendar for the Power of 100 Kick-off and Celebration of the next project on Sunday, March 8th. You can help decide where the SRWC will positively and purposefully impact the local community through the Power of 100 program’s 2020 Signature Project! A vote of SRWC members will determine which nonprofit’s project will receive the generosity of 100 people donating $100 resulting in a $10,000 award to their project next fall.
Be proactive. The Philanthropy Committee is currently vetting proposals and will select the most impactful projects for the SRWC membership to vote on. In early February, you will receive an e-mail blast announcing the potential projects. You will be able to vote in one of two ways - on the website once the voting opens or during the February 18th monthly luncheon. The winner will be announced at the kick-off. Details to follow.
Contact Cheryl Storm or Kris Besson at power100@gmail.com for more information or help in voting.

25 members including 5 hosts rounded out the Jan/Feb Italian Dinner theme. That means about 55 people sat at tables for delightful meals.
25 out of 53 members was pretty good as so many were gone for the winter.
