Kayak - Sunrise Kayak - Hosmer Lake

Sunrise Paddle - Sparks Lake  POSTPONED  DUE TO WEATHER

When:  6am - 8am  FRIDAY, AUGUST 30,   6 am - 8 am

Meet at 6am at Hosmer Lake.  Please carpool if possible.  Bring $3  for driver if carpooling.  This site requires a recreation/day parking permit ($5) or Northwest Forest pass.  

2 hour paddle with 1/2 hour breakfast.  Easy to Intermediate.

Let's meet at Hosmer Lake at 6am for a sunrise kayak around the lake.  This is a beautiful lake to watch the sunrise. Sunrise is at 6:17am on this date.  Along with the essentials listed bring a hydration drink and any other drink you would like. Muffins and fruit will be served for breakfast. We will kayak up to the waterfall and enjoy our breakfast there. You might bring a pad or blanket to sit on. 

Gear: Required PFD (life preserver), whistle, sun screen, bug repellant, hat, sun glasses, long sleeve shirt, towel, snacks, drinks, dry sac, Invasive Species Permit if kayak longer than 10 feet. Check the weather, might want to bring a light jacket and towel/blanket for legs.
