A Summertime Picnic by the River
featuring food, games, music and fun!
Who: Everyone who lives and works in the greater Sunriver area
Date: Wednesday, July 17
Time: 4 to 7:30 pm
Location: Mary McCallum Park, Sunriver
Registration: Reservations are required to attend the Community Picnic. Registration closes on Monday, July 8 or when the event capacity of 200 guests is reached. The picnic has sold out in each of the past two years therefore early registration is recommended. When the event is sold out a waitlist is initiated. Guests on the waitlist will be offered spaces as cancellations are received. Guests will receive a refund if their spots can be re-sold. Please note: We are unable to accommodate walk-ins.
Cost: $20.00 per person;
Food: BBQ will be provided by The Wallow Bar and Grill and will include your choice of ribs or chicken, ranch beans and BBQ sauce. This year we are also offering a veggie lasagna choice. The meal will be accompanied by coleslaw, Caesar salad, a dinner roll, watermelon and dessert. Iced tea, lemonade and water will be provided. Please bring your own beer and /or wine (if desired). Our thanks to The Wallow for donating their labor for our event.
Games: Join us for a variety of games including cornhole, ladder toss and Pétanque. There will be plenty of fun to go around!
Music: Live music will be provided by the Big River Band (duo). Our thanks to the Owner Enrichment Committee of SROA for sponsoring the band.

Parking: Parking is very limited at Mary McCallum Park. Spaces inside the gate will be reserved for guests with a valid Disabled Person Parking Permit issued by the DMV and our vendors and committee members bringing equipment and food.
Guests who are able to walk approximately 1/4 mile (10 minutes) will be parking at the SROA Boat Launch overflow parking lot. If a member of your party would have difficulty walking, you may request a drop-off pass in advance. You will be able to drop the person off and then go park in the overflow lot outside the park.
When you register, please check the box if you have a Disabled Parking Permit or require a drop-off pass Picnic parking volunteers stationed at the turn in to the SROA Boat Launch will have a parking pass or drop-off pass to hand you. One of our passes will be required for you drive through the gate at the Welcome Tent. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding! If you are able to ride a bike to the event, we encourage you to do so!
