Lake Creek Trail - July 22

Lake creek trail is a 8.8 mile out and back starting in Camp Sherman to Suttle Lake. It is a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels.The beginning of the trail passes through old-growth pine forest. It's only a 482 foot elevation gain. We'll be on a former forest road - so it's good for socializing. The trail at times parallels Lake Creek, which flows out of Suttle Lake into the Metolius River.

We will stop at Suttle Lake for lunch. You can bring your lunch with you or order something from the Boathouse. The meals I've had there have been very good.

We will meet at HTCC at 8:00am and then in Bend (for those of you coming that way)   at 8:30 in the Albertson's parking lot at the south end of Bend.
