FUNDRAISING TO SUPPORT NONPROFITS

The SRWC offers many ways to support our philanthropic giving to nonprofits with the goal of developing a strong network of services in south Deschutes County.  You can select a way to support our philanthropic giving that works best for you and your situation.

  Make a Direct Contribution

Make a contribution at any time to the

SRWC Grant Program, which awards grants to local nonprofits.  It is supported by donations plus SRWC community events and special projects.

Become part of the Power 100+ group. Your $100 or larger contribution  when combined with those of 99+ other donors, enables the SRWC to grant $10,000 + to a member selected nonprofit project.  Watch for a new future project to be voted on by members.

The Power of 50 for Education is a philanthropy program targeted at supporting student success in south Deschutes County.  The goal is to raise $50,000 during our 50th anniversary year to provide children and youth with needed opportunities and resources that will promote school success.

Charity Rewards or Matching Gift Programs
Sign up for Charity Rewards or Matching Gift Programs.  Businesses contribute to  a nonprofit of your choosing  at no cost to you, such  as Fred Meyers Rewards.  You shop as usual and this business gives a percentage to SRWC.

Be a Sponsor of a SRWC Fundraiser

Individuals and businesses can sponsor one or more of our community fundraising events at various levels. Sponsors are critical to our philanthropic giving program because they provide the community backing we need to make events successful.

  Support SRWC Fundraisers

Support our fundraising by attending  sponsored fundraisers, inviting others to join you and/or volunteering  to help put them on.  The SRWC sponsored fundraisers are varied, including an award winning community art fair and social occasions raising funds for our community grants.

The
Sunriver Art Fair is a juried, three day annual event. It showcases artists displaying their fine arts in an outdoor setting  a variety of entertainers, and a children's art center.

Art Meets Wine in the High Desert is a spring community event that pairs art and wine in virtual and in-person events and a virtual silent art and wine auction.
