Summer has arrived! Hot days and cooler nights—Sunriver in the summer!
Many times, I have been asked by new members, what happens during the summer for the SRWC? If this is your first summer as a SRWC member or a long-time member, there are several things to look forward to: hiking with the Hearty soles and Mid-Soles, birthday lunches, book clubs, knitting group, the Community Picnic in July and our big fundraiser, the Sunriver Art Fair in August.
One of my favorites — the Community Picnic, will be held on Tuesday, July 13 at Mary McCallum Park. This year we are changing the format to a “BYOP” which means “Bring Your Own Picnic”. Don’t want to cook, pick up something at one of our local restaurants; or if you took the charcuterie class, show of your charcuterie skills; or show off your culinary skills and make a delicious picnic.

As always, thank you for “Steppin’ Up for Fun, Friends and Philanthropy”! If you would like to discuss the SRWC or need anything, please reach out to me at (925) 708-4587 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
See you at the Picnic!!!
