Happy February! January was a busy month for the SRWC. Our virtual luncheon in January introduced us to two new businesses in Sunriver…The Fold Craft Pizza + Kitchen and The Sunriver Bakery Project. I have now ordered from both and was not disappointed. Keep reading this newsletter to find out all the details for the February luncheon.
Do you have a February birthday? Plan to join us for the February Birthday Coffee/Tea on Thursday, February 25 @ 10 am. You will receive an email in February with all the details on how to “zoom in”.
Calling all volunteers…the SRWC is a total volunteer organization, which is amazing considering all the things we do! We are looking for volunteers for the Sunriver Art Fair. This includes publicity/marketing, sponsorship, and an Assistant Art Fair Chair. If you are interested, please contact Kathleen Meyer at email@example.com.
Even with the pandemic and no in-person events, the SRWC had a banner year relating to philanthropy. We were able to grant $63,400 to various nonprofits in south Deschutes County. Thank you to everyone who made this possible from our members to the community, local businesses, and organizations. We could not have done this without you.
As always, thank you for “Steppin’ Up During this Difficult Time”! If you would like to discuss the SRWC or need anything, please reach out to me at (925) 708-4587 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stay safe and healthy!
